Laura Fraser-Crewes, lead officer of Transforming Plymouth Together (TPT), joins Ian in the studio for this ‘Community Matters’. Discussing a growing crisis impacting boys and young men in our society today. Drawing from her extensive experience in social action and community work, Laura discusses the urgent need for male role models, the impact of fatherlessness, and the alarming statistics surrounding male education, employment, and emotional well-being. Laura share’s about TPT’s upcoming initiative, RAW, a two-day workshop designed to equip Christian men to become mentors and stand in the gap for younger generations. From tackling issues like school readiness and male suicide to addressing the influence of toxic online content and pornography, this honest, faith-infused conversation shines a light on how churches and communities can respond with compassion and action.
