Role at Cross Rhythms Plymouth: Rich is one of the technical team and has been involved in Cross Rhythms since 2008 .

About: Rich has been working in radio of various kinds from the age of 16 when he joined Hospital Radio Maidstone as a trainee engineer. He worked alongside some of the team that were involved in setting up many Stations from Pirate radio to some of the big brand names that we know of today. You could say he has a passion for media as he now works as a TV sound and broadcast engineer, along with being involved in a number of radio stations in the south west. Rich is married to Linda and has two amazing boys Josh and Sam who both are learning how to fix things when they go wrong. Rich has lived in Plymouth for 13 years and loves the south west – in the words of a well known vicar ” South West is best”

Faith Testimony: Rich has had a journey of faith that has been full of twists and turns. At the age of 8 he was being taken to church by his Mum. “Thank God for our Mums and especially praying ones ! ” After a few years he was involved in the youth group but it seemed to be more of a social thing , that was until he went away on a Christian weekend where he saw God do a miracle and heal one of his friends. This was the start when he realised that it was all real. From that time on God has been directing his paths through various ” signposts ” along the way. He has messed up time after time but has experienced God’s Love time after time. “I can truly say that God has provided me with an amazing family , church and friends – he has never let me down.”

Favourite Food: Indian with crunchy poppadoms ( they have to have a bit of crunch)

Fun Fact: Like Dave Simpson – Rich also has a Blue Peter Badge and knows where it is. Fun fact2  – Rich  knows how you can hold your breath for more than 5 mins
