Tim Mockford

Role at Cross Rhythms Plymouth: All around technical genius. Fixes things that need fixing.

About: Not from Plymouth, or the South West, but from the wonderful city of Stoke-on-Trent. Tim moved down to Plymouth 8 years ago and began work as a teacher in alternative provision. Which he continues to this day. Tim’s been fixing various electronics and computers and working out how to build things on tight budgets for many years. Tim is married to Emma and they have two boys, Josh and Ollie, who are big fans of living close to the sea and Dartmoor!

Faith Testimony:
Brought up in the Church of England, Tim’s Dad was the vicar of Blurton in Stoke for many years. Things became real at university in mid Wales. Tim’s journey of faith continues to be like one of his runs, filled with ups and downs and some iffy navigation, but largely in the right direction with some great relationships formed on the way.

Favourite Food: Cheesy chips (especially after running)

Fun Fact: Tim once had to remove 12 ticks from his legs after running on Dartmoor
